Kids and Easter photos have got to be one of the cutest photo combinations ever! This past weekend, I had the honor to photograph two of the sweetest and most adorable kids I know! Their Easter photo shoot screams cuteness overload! The weather was just absolutely amazing! Sometimes the best location happens to be in your own backyard. This is especially helpful for the kids because they are more comfortable in front of the camera since they are on familiar grounds. We had three different sets going on. The first one was the mirror shot. This works great for fast crawling babies who are always on the move. You set the mirror down on the ground and then you set the baby on the mirror. This made some cool shots of Rorie looking down at herself. It also creates a cool composition. The second set was the “Bunny 4 Sale” shot. The props that are needed are a stick that you find in your yard, a carrot, small chalkboard, string, bunny ears and a bunny tail. Once you gather all of your props, then Jamison holds the carrot that is attached to the stick as if she is “fishing” for Rorie who is dressed as the bunny. “Bunny 4 Sale” is written on the chalkboard. For the third set, white curtains, the happy Easter sign and a wooden ladder are needed. From here, you can add other decorations that add a pop of color. This is a very creative and low budget photo shoot that is a lot of fun for both the kids as well as the adults! These are just three ways to create those adorable Easter photos that you can cherish for a lifetime! These memories can all be achieved with items that can be found around the house!
